Dr Swarda Uppin, is an Ayurveda graduate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, 2015 and was awarded masters in the year 2019, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research. She happens to be amongst the pioneers of the PG Department of Rasayana evam Vajikarana (Ayurveda Rejuvenative and Reproductive Health) and till date continues to serve the KLE Institution as Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa – Rasayana evam Vajikarana and Consultant & Head, Srishti Fertility Centre, KLE Ayurveda Hospital.
Dr Uppin is specialised in the area of Reproductive Medicine which includes Male and Female Infertility and Sexual Dysfunctions, Pre-conceptional Care, Couple Counselling and Preventive Medicine. In the area of clinical research, Dr Uppin has been a guide to 08 scholars exploring the areas of Poor Ovarian Reserve, development of Ayurveda gel-based condoms, male sub-fertility due to Sperm agglutination, regenerative and preventive medicine and bioinformatics. She is a Principal and Co-investigator for various projects from International to Institutional collaborations, in the areas of Unexplained Infertility, Erectile dysfunction, Preventive and Regenerative medicine. She has been a resource person at various platforms covering the areas of Rejuvenation and Reproductive Medicine, and has few publications to her credit in her areas of expertise.
Dr Uppin is a Member, Bureau of Indian Standards (AYUSH Division), New Delhi; Member, Board of Studies, Faculty of Ayurveda, KAHER, Belagavi; Member, Institutional Dissertation and Synopsis Quality Assurance Cell; Member, Pharmacovigilance Cell; and is also the Coordinator for Overseas Activity, KLE Ayurworld.
